I met Carolyn in nineth grade swimming. We called her "shortie", but she out grew me before graduation. I think that is when and where i accquired the nickname "WORM." She taught me a lot of swimming skills and we both entered the synchronized swim class the following year. I joined Shorty's Senior girl scout troup and after graduation, we took off on an extensive trip to the World's Fair in Seattle. We camped all the way up the coast, into Canada and back thru the National Parks. Carolyn attended the 30 year reunion and we sat together at the same table. She will be missed at the fiftieth.
