Survived By: His wife, Gail , two children Shannon and Luke , and three grandchildren.
Rich was a wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather, and high school educator. He had a zest for life with a ready laugh. He adored his grandchildren and frequently took care of them. He will be greatly missed by all.

Ben, He was Dick when I knew him at Lakeview. He later changed it to Rich (Richard) as it was a little more sophisticated so to speak.

I didn't know Rich at OHS. I didn't attend the other schools he did. Sorry to hear he had ALS. Not a fun thing to bear. He lived in Three Rivers. Wish I knew that earlier. That's just up the hill from me in Visalia. Condolences to his family.

Went through Westlake and OHS with Dick (Rich) - he was always a nice guy. A bit of a jokester, but not ever at anyone's expense. I'm sure his family is missig him greatly. I bet he's checkig out baseball fields in Heaven.
