I have known Peter since we were children from Dimond, Lyons Pool and as neighbors.  I   walked past his beautiful brown shingled house on Park Blvd in upper Glenview daily while growing up.  I always enjoyed his happy personality and big smile.  He came over to me with Jan at the reunion and it was so nice to see how well he was doing and to meet his wife.   We exchanged a few emails and it was nice to hear what they were up to.  I'm very sad to hear about the loss of my old friend, such a sweet soul and very talented artist.  My sympathies to Jan and their son.  May your wonderful memories of him stay in your hearts forever and may he rest in peace.  He will be missed.

What a surprise. I talked with Peter at our reunion. He seemed healthy and happy. We talked much about our art instructor, Mr. Jensen. Peter and I were in a special art class during our senior year. we worked on water colors in the back room and each put a portfolio together hoping for a scholarship to California College of Arts and Crafts. Peter won the scholarship. I looked up to his mastery of water colors.

In 2001, Peter and I connected again when I was building a website for our virtual 40th reunion. He sent me a lot of information and helped out a lot.

Then, a couple of years after our last reunion, he sent me class photos of our kindergarten and first grade classes at Manzanita Elementry School. I had no idea that he and I spent our first years in school together.

Peter was always kind. And he was quiet. He was very real and could express his feelings, something not many teenagers could do. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. May he now have the freedom to paint many rainbows

Condolences and blessings to his wife and son.

Well put, Jeani and Kathy.  I didn't know Pete, but it's clear he was a great guy, and I'm glad to see friends posting memories. Those help to keep people, and spirits, alive.
